Battery Service
We provide mobile testing of automotive batteries, starting and charging systems [alternators/generators] using state of the art testing equipment that will provide you with a print out of the general health of these systems and check for electrical drains that could be causing problems. Sales and installation of automotive batteries with 6-year warranty [3 year free replacement], “Battery Tenders” and minor repairs or replacement of battery cable connections.
Other general services available include vehicle lockouts, fuel delivery, flat tire change with spare and jumpstarts.
Light-duty
This spectrum of towing refers to both conventional/wheel lift and flatbed towing of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating [GVWR] of 10,000 lbs. Or less.
This covers all passenger cars, most pickups & vans up to ¾ ton rating and a small number of 1 ton rated trucks. Some loaded vehicle situations can require a truck or van in this range to need medium duty equipment for towing safely & legally.All light duty trucks can also perform vehicle lockouts, fuel delivery, flat tire change with spare, jumpstarts and light extrication/recovery work. Flatbed/Car Carrier
An often-preferred method of transporting exotic, classic and show vehicles as well as Four wheel & All wheel drive cars and trucks. Motorcycles, small equipment and forklifts weighing less than 8000 lbs. also utilize this style of truck.
Trailers
We have the equipment to tow virtually any trailer that rolls. This includes ball-hitch [all sizes], pintle hook, gooseneck and fifth-wheel units.
Medium-duty
Examples of vehicles in this range would be “Super Duty” or “HD” large pickups, utility trucks, delivery/service vans and many types of two axle bobtail/box trucks [see more specific sizing notes below]. Many RVs less than 32’ in length and often depending on engine placement [pusher/puller] fall into this category of towing. We also offer fuel delivery, flat tire change with spare, jumpstarts and lockouts [some RVs may require locksmith services] on these vehicles. Additionally our drivers are highly trained in medium-duty extrication and recovery.
Any vehicle with a manufacturer or aftermarket builder gross vehicle weight rating [GVWR] of 10,001 lbs. or above requires at least medium duty equipment. Typically the upper end of this range is approximately 28,000 lbs GVWR before heavy-duty equipment is required for safe and legal towing. However this depends on the vehicle and the load it is carrying. Drivers of medium-duty towing equipment are required to have extensive additional training and state/federal licensing requirements. Medium-duty towing and service calls are charged at hourly rates with some travel time included.
Heavy-Duty/Super Heavy
If you need it towed we can move it. The standard range of these two realms of towing is vehicles with a GVWR [gross vehicle weight rating] between 28,000 & 80,000 lbs. including any legal load or permitted extra-legal load. Our Extrication & Recovery teams are highly trained professionals that WILL get you out of whatever jam you are in. If your needs require extreme specialty equipment that we do not possess we will obtain it for you through our extensive networking with those who do. We also provide fuel delivery, jumpstart, flat tire change with spare and lockout services on vehicles in this range.
